Shock Collar Ban in Virginia

I am working on banning shock collars in the state of Virginia. These torture devices are banned in most countries, such as the UK, all of Europe, parts of Australia, and parts of Canada. The US is the last stronghold these torture devices have.

The ban will be for the sale and use of shock collars throughout the entire state.

On July 9th, 2024 I had a meeting with Delegate Martinez about this bill. He loved it and wants to see it become a reality. This is the same delegate who got declawing banned in Virginia. The goal is the get this bill passed and enforced within 2 years.

Contact your representative and ask them to support the bill to ban shock collars once it is introduced. Use the sources linked above in your Emails, messages, and phone calls. Even if you’re not in the state you can still contact them and say you will not visit Virginia unless there’s a ban, and voice the cruelty of these torture devices.
